TEES FOR TREES

Rain Tees in Port-Au-Prince Haiti

HANDMADE TEES FEATURING ARTWORK FROM CHILDREN LIVING IN ENDANGERED RAINFORESTS

RainTees donates school supplies to children living in areas facing rapid environmental destruction and asks them to illustrate what they see happening in their world every day. Each eco-friendly cotton tee features their thoughts and illustrations alongside their name.

For every tee sold, RainTees plants a tree in a critically endangered rainforest.

Upon witnessing first-hand the human rights violations and environmental pollution caused by the fashion industry, Beth Doane launched RainTees in 2008 to prove that fashion could be made sustainably and ethically. She was also honoring a grade-school commitment:

“When I was eight years old, I convinced my entire class at school to give me their lunch money to save the Amazon rain forest,” says Beth. “While this only landed me in the principal’s office, my passion to inspire people to create positive change never faded.”

To this day, RainTees has planted more than 20,000 trees, and their education partners consist of public and private schools, orphanages, and NGO’s operating in more than 30 countries.

RainTees’ tree planting partners ensure that the trees they plant are protected and grown by local communities in areas where they will be most beneficial.
